It is very important to inspect and properly maintain any forklift truck and notify your supervisor, so it can be red-tag. Also it's very important that you maintain a safe operation of the forklift whether it has load or not.
Inspect the forklift truck before operating, make sure there no leaks or damages to the truck. Also before starting your work make sure all movement of the forklift move smoothly without any problems.
